Activities are adapted to meet members where they are cognitively and physically, with alternative options always available—including quiet spaces for rest or independent relaxation.
Supportive Daytime Care Focused on Engagement
Elmstead is a social adult day program designed for individuals who benefit from supervision, assistance, and meaningful engagement throughout the day, without the need for nursing or ongoing medical monitoring.
Our team may assist with:
- One-person physical assistance as needed
- Help with toileting and feeding
- Medication reminders for self-administration
Throughout the day, our focus is on helping members feel comfortable, supported, and confident—so they can engage, connect, and enjoy their time at Elmstead.
Nourishment That Supports the Whole Person
Meals and snacks are prepared on-site and thoughtfully planned by a dietitian, incorporating principles of the MIND diet. Each day includes breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, with beverages and light snacks available throughout the day.
Dietary needs and preferences are accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
Safety and Peace of Mind
Elmstead is fully ADA accessible, with monitored and secured entry points, clear sightlines throughout the space, and attentive staff present throughout the day.
